Our commitment

gene.re aims to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We continuously improve keyboard navigation, colour contrast, semantic structure, and screen-reader compatibility across the site.

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review new tools and page updates for perceptibility, operability, understandability, and robustness. Known issues are tracked and prioritised in our development workflow.

Known limitations

Some third-party content may not fully meet our standards:

• Advertisements served by Google AdSense are controlled by Google and may not always be fully accessible;
• Several tools rely on HTML Canvas for rendering (QR codes, barcodes, image conversion previews). Canvas output may not be equally accessible to all assistive technologies; where possible, we provide downloadable alternatives or textual equivalents on the tool page.
